Void Deck cruise past Koreans

Today, Void Deck claims a victory, a victory to remember forever. We beat a Korean side which is formed by mostly Koreans 5-3. We make Singapore proud eh? At the very start, we all thought that they all chinese but as we get to play with them during the soccer match, we found out that they communicate in a weird language then we ask them, they say that they are speaking Korean language. They communicate with us in english though. Their english is not Singaporean style, they speak in the Americian USA style. A very interesting opponent. We had never get to play with teams from overseas but now we had one and... we won!!!
Match Review - VDW 5-3 Team Korea
The match starts like a nightmare for VDW, we all look set for another defeat, they were leading 2-0 very early in the game. But we had other suggestion, we don't want to just give up and lose again, we want a victory. Our goal scoring record in the game started when Hugo (play for us today) wrack in a brilliant half volley the keeper touch . But Hugo's ball was too ooooo powerful ! 1-2. The Koreans then eventually reserve the 2 goal lead again with a 3-1 shortly afterwards. Midway through the match, ZiXian then skip pass a Korean defender and then wracking in a cross for Chee Hoe but the last man of the Korean side doesn't want Chee Hoe to have any contact with the ball because he knows, if he gets the ball, it will be a gone case. He tries to head but apparently the ball seems to be beyond his height, he then, unsportingly use his hand to hit it away and it ended in a penalty. Hong Kiat steps up and convert the spot kick, 2-3. Then both sides showed their fitness level under the hot sun with lots of running, up and down to defend and attack, lots of chance goes by but both sides were unable to score. VDW's very own right back, Jun An, show his quality in today's game as he just kept intercepting and he was named the Man of the match today. Chances includes ZiXian's long range effort that the keeper push up, a Korean side foot shot that was seems to be going into the top corner of goal but Kian Mung push it upwards and the ball knock against the post and went out for a corner. The corner that came in doesn't really troubles the VDW's defence and we immediately counter and Hong Kiat scores to level the score, 3-3. Just a few minutes after the goal, Hong Kiat scores again to complete his hat-trick, this time, he needs a mistake by a defender to score. Oppotunity seems to be gone until a defender of theirs make a terrible mistake with a miss kick and the ball just rolls to Hong Kiat's path and he takes the shot into the goal, 4-3 for the wanderers. We take the lead for the first time of the game. A minute before game ends, Hugo wrack a shot that was deflected by a defender and eventually in the goal, it actually went through the keepers leg as he tried to blocked it . The final score? Void Deck Wanderers FC of Singapore 5-3 Team Korea of Korea.
